my affordably chic picks for fall '10
clockwise, from right: military jacket, old navy; boot, target; leopard crossbody bag, topshop; linea pelle bracelet, madewell; skinny cargo, ae outfitters; black pump, piperlime; michael kors tortoise watch, shopbop; portrait ring, forever21; striped dress, j.crew; fringed scarf, madewell
Because I'm a recent graduate, I like to use the words, "young, fabulous, and broke" to describe myself (p.s., check out looks by the designer with the same moniker for shopbop, amazing!). Keeping on trend for fall 2010 doesn't have to cost a fortune, so I pulled together some things for the girl who wants to be fabulous on a budget. I tried to represent as many on-trend things as I could: leopard, military, stripes (they're not going away, not yet at least), and overall biker-chic. All of the pieces are under $100, with the exception of the Michael Kors watch, which I couldn't resist. One more thing: I own most of these pieces... so I'll personally attest to their gorgeousness in person. Enjoy!

I tried on that watch! KC picked it out to give me for graduation and i was in love with it... but I have crazy tiny wrists and it looked stupid. I ended up with another fabulous tortoise and gold Michael Kors watch though!
