betsy burnham for lonny

I'm sure you've heard of Lonny magazine, the online-only shelter mag that's been taking the interior design blogosphere by storm. The latest issue just appeared on their website, but one of the things I love the most about Lonny is that its' archives are just as accessible as their current issues. My favorite issue to date is issue three, which features, among other great things, Betsy Burnham. Betsy is an interior designer based out of L.A. who's known for her eclectic interiors that mix vintage with modern into what I describe as "controlled chaos." I love her work! I'm also in the process of reimagining my bedroom and my general living space as I prepare to move to the City, and I would love to recreate a Betsy look for my own. I'm thinking something black, something Asian, and pattern. Lots and lots of pattern.

p.s. I am in love with the Hermes tray. I know it's overdone, but it's still amazing. Would LOVE to know where I can get my hands on one of those.
